Works anywhere a Sony 1450 works, it has faster track access than the 1450 and has front panel controls that the 1450 does not have. The only bad difference is that the 1450 does text display and the 1550 does not. This only matters for games that use that display function (DL2) and there's patches to get around that (see below)
